Call for participation: Reorganized Organ youth mentorship project

Call for participation: The Reorganized Organ — a collaborative instrument-building project, repurposing a discarded electronic organ.

Deadline: July 20, 2017. Takes place over 12 session in the Fall 2017.

With the help of mentor-artists George Rahi and Marc St. Pierre, you’ll collaborate with other participants to take apart and repurpose a discarded electronic organ, and other wasted electronics. Reorganizing the components found within, you’ll invent and create an orchestra of experimental musical instruments and other sound-making devices. Project partners include Vancouver New Music, Free Geek Vancouver, and MakerMobile. Funded by the BC Arts Council.
