Bring Your Own Beamer

On Saturday, January 21st from 8pm -11pm, VIVO Media Arts Centre will host a Vancouver installment of Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB). The event, conceived by Dutch-Brazilian artist Rafaël Rozendaal, is a one-night screening where artists display their video or film work using their own projector. Formats of all varieties will be presented simultaneously, across the walls of VIVO’s 2,000 square foot studio space, backed by a crowd-sourced soundtrack.

*This is a fundraiser. All revenues will go towards preserving VIVO’s technology archive**

If you would like to present as a participating artist, please email your name and film/video format of choice to info@vivomediaarts.com by Thursday, January 19th 2017 by noon. Participating artists are asked to install their projector, media player, and video file between 6:00pm – 7:30pm on the night of the event. All submissions will be accepted.
