Brady Marks
Instructor: MaxMSP, Pd, POV
Brady Marks is a collaborative artist who makes things which do things and explores novel cultural hypotheses. In most of her work she manipulates light and sound, using software and electronics. She holds an M.Sc in Interactive Art from Simon Fraser Universit*y*, where she often teaches Sonic and Visual Arts. From an early age she learnt to swim with machines and has been making a practice of swimming in as many art pools as possible. This has taken her collaborations to SIGGAPH, DEAF and the Gwangu Biennale and allowed her to work regularly with some of Canada's most favoured residents, including Judy Radul, Geoffrey Farmer & Chris Welsby. http://www.inter-mission.org/bradymarks.html
