Creating Apps for Android

Android is an open source operating system for smartphones and embedded devices that are packed with sensors, such as touch screens, cameras, microphones, gps, and various sensors such as proximity, accelerometers, gyroscope, light sensors, etc. This course is aimed at giving a rapid introduction to programming for Android using Processing, harnessing the power of Processing and the various Java libraries it encompasses, all in a project-driven environment. While we will not be covering preparing your application for the market, we will create prototypes of applications that will run on Android devices.
