Grant Awarded to the Gayblevision Legacy Project

VIVO is proud to announce that it has been awarded nearly $7000 from UBC’s Irving K Barber Learning Centre through its “BC History Digitization Program” for its Gayblevision Legacy Project. This grant represents half of our costs to digitize, preserve, and make accessible online, the Gayblevision and Pacific Wave original cable series.

The Crista Dahl Media Library & Archive plays a critical role in preserving and making accessible rare audio/visual material documenting the LGBTQ movement and its artists. If you would like to have your name added to this project’s list of supporters, or wish to make a donation in honour of a loved one, we make it easy  through CanadaHelps online donation platform.
