The Tascam DR70 is a battery powered audio recorder made to mount either underneath or above a DSLR camera, but can also be used as a stand-alone field recorder. It is equipped with two condenser mics for stereo recording and four balanced inputs with phantom power and individual gain control. The camera mic input allows the DR70 to record the camera mic signal, ideal for recording a safety track at a different db level. The mic level out allows the multi-channel mix from the DR70 to be recorded to the camera for easy synchronization.
