VIVO Media Arts Centre Archive > CDMLA Resources

A Scan of Popular CDMLA Resources

About

This listing offers researchers a quick scan of fonds, people, organizations, and events related to our most popular research requests. This guide is representative, not exhaustive. SVES has a long history of engagement with an extraordinary number of communities in addition to its own programming.  Only a portion of that history and resources is represented here. We encourage all researchers to contact us at library@vivomediaarts.com for assistance with your research.

How To Use

You can start by browsing  our GENERAL RESOURCES or narrow your search by identifying people and organizations of interest in MEDIA ART + ACTIVISM + COMMUNITIES. Search the Video Catalogue for video descriptions.

How to View Video

As an artist-run centre, we support artists’ copyright and artist fees so many videos cannot be made freely available online. Researchers who wish to view videos should contact library@vivomediaarts.com

Many videos are in active distribution through Video Out. You can see preview excerpts of 189 of these at VUCAVU. Full works are available on-demand.
